A Community-Driven Comeback for Local Businesses

The Valentine's Day 2025 water main break threw Skokie into disarray—disrupting daily life, straining local restaurants, and challenging our dedicated utility crews. In response, the Downtown Skokie Merchant's Collaborative (DSMC) has launched a special fundraising and give-back program to help our community recover.

For just a $30 donation to DSMC, you'll receive a gift from a Downtown Skokie merchant, available for use or pick-up on March 7. Seventy-five percent of your donation will go directly to support our local businesses, while the remaining funds will provide a celebratory lunch and party for the hardworking utility workers who worked tirelessly to restore our services. Your support makes a real difference in rebuilding and uplifting Skokie during these challenging times.
