Gain a new life skill with visible mending techniques to extend the life of your favorite clothes and other textiles with custom repairs that show off your own creative flair! Learn different techniques to repair clothes with decorative stitches, practical stitches for broken seams, identifying woven fabrics, and the best tools and materials for repairing woven garments. Each student will create a mending sampler to practice the repair techniques. This is an introductory class for all skill levels.
